A knockout from any angle. MGM saw to it that there was only one Esther Williams and her stupendous talent can be viewed in this montage of film clips from her various films. My very best in this order of her films were: Easy to Love, The Duchess of Idaho and Million Dollar Mermaid. Wherever you are sweet Esther, our love for you is eternal and limitless.

Esther Willimas was made to be filmed underwater, she is gorgeous! There's no reports of the footage being murky or muddy or her hair being weird and kinky. Beautiful hair color and hairstyle too!

Busby Berkeley directed these delirious moments. Toxic smoke, incredible heights, girls, girls, girls. There's only one director who could imagine this. And they left out the water skiing extravaganza from East To Love.
Yeah he was a fantastic visionary, and with regards to the water skiing they did show it in full in the sequel which iI think ended up working out better.
Well, they had to save something for "That's Entertainment, Part II", but they sliced and diced it in the editing room. The whole production number, and the rehearsal for the ski jumping, is on TH-cam.
Berkeley only worked on 'Million Dollar Mermaid' and 'Easy to Love'. Esther's principal choreographer was herself. Buzz knew even less about the technicalities of swimming and diving than about dancing. He was a creator of patterns and marshal of mass movements.
