Amazing Schindler & Kone Traction Full-Glass Elevators at RDU Int’l Airport Parking Garage

Filmed on December 26, 2019: These are the parking garage glass elevators at Raleigh-Durham RDU International Airport where Andrew (DieselDucy) filmed VERY VERY LONG TIME ago! Sorry that I got mixed up on which one is the Schindler, and which one is the Kone (which is mistaken for being Montgomery, as Montgomery was discontinued in 1995, and that the second elevators shown in this video were installed in 2003. Proof that it says on the certificate and proof that the elevators are labeled Kone on the North Carolina elevator records.).
Also... HAPPY LEAP DAY!!! :D
First Elevators: Instead in 2000, floor buttons partially replaced in later 2010’s (otherwise still original).
Second Elevators: Installed in 2003.
Sadly to be fully modernized in 2019-2020 or later. :(

In case if you are wondering, I was fooled when I took this video! I thought for quite a while that one bank of elevators are Schindler in the other side facing across from each other are Kone, but I got totally confused. I did not even know that the one whole set (first elevator set seen in video) leaning towards the airport terminal entranceway are all Schindler, and the other set (second elevator bank seen in video) located in the center of the garage are Kone. Just I want to make you understand and fully aware that I was fooled and confused on how the way each of the elevator companies are set up.
Also, I am VERY VERY VERY VERY SORRY for not uploading in the past couple of weeks. I’ve been very busy with school and doing other plans. But please don’t worry, I will continue so that you guys can enjoy! Thank you all so much for understanding, and I wish you a great rest of the day. :D

I have ridden those elevators many times and one time only 4 total elevators worked. Other than bad maintenance I love those elevators! Good memories!

I think I know these elevators need to modded because when I was here like 3 times when they were still original. These elevators always breaking down a lot and I saw some of the elevators out of service.

Nice Video, I've been on these elevators many times in my life. Did you happen to get the ones at the parking tunnel in terminal 1 as your heading to or coming from the parking garage? Cause those are probably my favorite in the whole airport!
