I’m trying to wait until the week before Thanksgiving to put up my Christmas decor!!It’s been really warm where I’m at the past week and that does not put me in the Christmas spirit!
I totally agree having larger uniform totes is a total game changer for storing decor. I went with larger clear ones from Walmart. Love being able to see everything from the outside and we built a shelf in the basement that stores them all perfectly. Your home is so cozy❤❤
I took my Halloween stuff down on November 1st but leaving the pumpkins (uncarved) and the other Fall stuff out till after Thanksgiving. I don't rush the holidays and seasons. Fall things stay up till after Thanksgiving, then I start the Christmas and winter decor.
Everyone does things differently. I love Christmas decor & prefer to have it up as long as possible. It’s totally fine that you wait until after Thanksgiving, just like it’s perfectly fine that I don’t. 😊
Love all that you do!!! We have the smaller yellow and black totes too. We also found ( I think it was at Walmart) scan stickers. You put the scan code sticker on your tote and you can physically list every item in the tote. So, if you are looking for one specific thing you scan it and it will list what's in the tote, so you don't have to open every tote. I'm SERIOUSLY trying to get organized and it's helping quite a bit . Thought I'd share.

I agree it’s sad taken down Halloween decor but then that means Xmas is next I know poor thanksgiving keeps getting left out but it’s not really a big holiday for decor like Xmas haha 🤣 ahhh those hangers I saw you’re giving away I could sure use them I was putting laundry away and just didn’t have enough to hang my shirts lol made me think of that I ordered some on Walmart so like a 29 pack just wish my closet was bigger for the room 🤣 have a great rest of your week! 💜😊

Well…at least you weren’t in such a hurry you shoved everything in totes dirty. I love Christmas too, but other than get my outdoor lights up while it’s still warm outside, I don’t put my Christmas decor and tree up until Thanksgiving day, usually after we’ve eaten and cleaned up, but I understand your need to do it earlier. I saw a video a long time ago with labels that have photos on them…I might try to find that label maker so I can have the photos on the sides!

We started pulling out the Christmas totes today!
I did put Halloween away the day after, but I kept out fall decor until after Thanksgiving. Which is when I put up Christmas decor.
