Think it is the best possible ending if they actually make another Sequel. Maybe in the new one, the new protagonist, will come across Lincoln and we are going to see what happened to him after he left, how from working at some docks and being rdy to marry, everything fell apart and he run into trouble again.
I wish we could kill Lincoln in Mafia 4.

***** no, if Burke rule the city he gets cancer and goes to mexico to get an ilegal transplant he floods the city with alcohol and drugs so that drew the worst kind of people in the town, Burke gets in war with cuban group, he murdered like 8 and gets killed, after his dead no one rules the city for more than a couple of months and the city become a paradise without rules
Weird, in Vito's ending it looks like some years have gone by, and if that's true, and Burke had liver cancer with less than a year to live, how could he finish that casino?

And what happens when all of them have same amount of districts? Everyone of them got 3 Districts in my playthrough. I picked ruling togheter over the city so I dont know who would rule of them if I would have left
Tbh when I saw the Rule Together ending; I think it's great character development of Lincoln. He's not just a sociopathic mob boss, he's a human, he has morals. Same way he dosent kill women; instead of blowing all his money on casinos, or living his own lavish life. He puts his money into rebuilding the city he destoryed, building hospitals, donating to charity. It's quite poetic.

I think the best is to leave the town to Vito Scaletta. While Lincoln did give money to the city he also got that money from harming other people. Vito on the other hand made his money legally by building casinos and by doing so he also created workplaces for the locals.
@@AndreiPopescu He just becomes Sal Marcano 2.0. He does everything thing that Marcano wanted to do and Scalleta don't deserved anything. Everything that happened in mafia 2 was his own fault.
You know what would have made the after credits scene more awesome? If Donovan looked at the cameras after killing the Senator & said something along the lines of "Good Night America".

Poor Father James. He really wanted the best for Lincoln even if it meant stopping him from becoming a monster. It broke my heart when I decided to run the city with my co-bosses. Lincoln couldn't be able to live in exile if he left town. I wouldn't be surprised if Lincoln later got killed in his later years.

It’s probably the first time Sal was ever truly honest about something.

Lincoln’s knife skills, special forces training and the gameplay made this feel like assassins creed. Gotta give it to Marcano though. He went out like a real don. He almost looked relieved that the nightmare of “this thing of ours” was finally over.

The sheer iroy about this scene is that no matter how much pain each character caused the other, both have a kind of respect for each other.
So, this takes place in 60s and Leo Galante met Vito in prison during the 40s and the 50s. Then, Leo leaves Empire Bay.

@@MyJanvic uhhhh????? If you knew anything at all about organized crime's history you would know that a holy fuck ton of gangsters have been killed or almost killed by car bombs, it's a more common and effective form of assassination than slaughtering someone with an SMG or firing rockets at them

The character animation during cutscenes is superb, the movements look real. Compare that to the conversations you have in Fallout or Mass Effect Andromeda, those are so robotic.
Strange that Leo Galante still looks the same as in mafia 2, while Vito does look (20+ years) older

I just finished it and I'm glad on the final results. I kept everything at a perfect balance, everyone was happy and I took over the entire southern region. Kept everything in a safe balance. One of my favorite game endings of all time really. Loved Donovans rage. Hopefully mafia 4 could have a son of Donovan you get to be I think that shit would be dope

Words cannot express how much I enjoyed the story in this game. But at the time of writing this I was right at the end and had to choose the 3 endings and cos I loved this so much I had a difficult time choosing. Now I don't.
For those undecided, I highly recommend this game purely for the storyline alone. The gameplay is nothing to sout about but it's still a lot of fun and is the best sandbox city to date, with so many hidden places!

I have to admit I've played the Mafia III demo (2018) and I have to admit to my tastes just using the little aspect of free roam I appreciate it. The atmosphere, vehicles and music is enough to keep me interested. Reminds me of how my own father described the 1960's, the era he grew up in. Not every game needs a whole lot of "free roam activities" if the environment and the atmosphere is perfected.
tbh alll the endings are kind of bad but i would either go for leave the city or rule together cuz they are the least evil but i kind of like the idea of lincoln being this huge boss with his right hand men (and women gender equality) ruling over the city but at the same time helping it massively.
