You've sure got your recording rig dialed nicely Shawn. Even the core non pedal tones are really good, and, it goes without saying that the playing is superb.

Thanks Kenny, I compose the songs as I get to know the pedals I demo. The solo's are not composed as much but I do rehearse the general cadence before playing on camera.
Hey Shawn. You are an amazing player. Would love your opinion since you recently did demos of the XTS Atomic Overdrive and the J Rockett Tim Pierce Overdrive. I play a BC Rich CJ Pierce ProX Eagle guitar into a Fender Cyberdeluxe amp. Big fan of Tom Keifer/Cinderella and Keith Urban. On a clean channel on the Cyberdeluxe, which of these two pedals would help be achieve a sound close to these artists? Also, would you recommend getting a small tube amp rather than the Cyberdeluxe? Thanks in advance for your response
Do you get an AC/DC Marshall tone out of this pedal? I have a fender princeton 65 solid state and getting ACDC tones are kind of difficult with that and I am not 100 percent sold on a budget Marshall DSL 40 amplifier from my local music store which is $1300 CAD

Man those are two completely different animals. I would be more apt to blow a solo with the Atomic but dig the VSXO for rhythm and lower gain tones. Can't really compare them. I guess it depends on what your doing more of.

ok is an ( amp in a box) more suited for clean amps ? as opposed to putting a high gain pedal in front of my clean amp? i have not tried this style on my fender clean , it takes pedals very good, modded blues jr even hi gain pedals,(modded ds1 and modded metal zone), wondering how this would sound......
in hind sight, i did own an xotic sl drive, for me the ds1 sounded better, i was joking with my son, telling him it would be funny if the modded ds 1 sounded better .....it did, for me anyways, maybe my pickups liked it more

Great playing dude. Dialed in, this pedal sounds GREAT. Pushed too hard though, it does get a bit flubby. But that's not unusual with some pedals.

The Atomic is very versatile indeed and should be able to get that sound for you.

Good question Gabriel. I don't think they're set up for 18v but check with XTS about it.
