But this vide is one of the finest videos I have ever seen that depicts this beautiful city by drone! I am simply in awe of the way that it was filmed and the length of the shots instead of these very brief and herky-jerky drone shots of London! Love the twilight drone shots. Spectacular! I'm staying at the Marriott West India Quay (coming over from Texas) in 2 weeks and am looking forward to seeing the much transformed (since I was last there) Canary Wharf.
It's a shame they are clustering the skyscrapers in The City so tightly together. I know it's because they need to maintain the protected views of St. Paul's but it results in: 1. A less impressive skyline 2. cannibalization of views as each new tower blocks the views from the towers that are already there. 3. Windy Urban Canyons 4. Possible transport problems with so many workers concentrated in a small area. This will just be exacerbated as more planned skyscrapers like 1 Undershaft and 100 Leadenhall are built. At this point you can't see "the Gherkin", arguably the one of the most iconic buildings in London, from many vantage points. Seems like a big planning mistake to me.
