While watching this tour de force of editing, I realized that watching Jodie Comer's mugging for the camera as Villanelle is probably one of the peak experiences of my many decades of entertainment consumption. She has a gift for making faces that express sentiments for which language has no words. It's like seeing an F5 tornado approaching, & being too spellbound by the magnitude of the destruction to turn away & take shelter. I normally have an aversion to gore, but when V is shedding the blood, it's clear that she's the Jackson Pollock of murder, & if the spatter could be framed like a work of art for sale at auction, the bids would go though the roof, lol! 🩸🎨🖌🤑
