Thank you so much for making this video, I've been trying to study the Civil war and the books do a very bad job at describing the battle, this vide has to be the best explanation of the battle I've seen so far.

Your map is incorrect as it shows W. Virginia as part of the Union in 1861. It was still Virginia until 1863.

i think you mixed up the names. McDowell's army was the army of the Potomac.

Actually no, not yet at this time. Funnily enough, at the very start it was the Union who had an Army of Virginia and the Confederacy that had an Army of the Potomac.

At Manassas Jackson commanded a brigade, not a division. It were the units of Early and Elzey who made the final push
