So far I’m liking the way you mounted your rear axle. Waiting to see how the motor mounts and how you’ll manage to keep your chain tensioned properly when the rear suspension moves. 👍
Yeah, I’ve been wondering about that geometry myself. All I can picture right now is two swing arms on the tubes around the axle with the engine mounting plate between and at the other end, some kind of swingarm so that the engine is standard length from the axle but the swing arm and can move forward and back to account for the changes in geometry. Similar to that little drop down swing arm on the end of the suspension.
Looks like you beefed up the welds on the front axle 😅 I was worried about that. New build is looking great. Keep up the good work. That axle design is really something, gave me some ideas for my own build

I'm really curious to see how this whole thing works too. Ha Ha. I have a plan, maybe not a good one, we will see very soon.
It's coming along nicely! Great work Steve.
Thanks 👍
I like your hybrid 1/4 elliptical suspension. It looks great
Thanks, this was done to get the ride height correct in relation to the body
Loving this build Steve!
Thanks, it is turning out to be a challenge

Thanks, Yes, I welded the crud out of it. I don't want that to snap off.
It looks more than adequate now! Looking forward to the next video.
I would flip the brackets on the front axle and swap sides. Angle could work and the plate on top would mount to leaf.
Thanks
You need to make a saddle to align and hold the axle
Thanks
rear suspension? how bourgeois
I'm a trouble maker and in way over my head, it will be a miracle if this actually works
