They didn't win but Simon still singed them and focus all his attention and money on them which we Directioners are grateful for. But do not insult Matt and Rebecca especially since they purposely drop and ruin them. In fact it's amazing that they still manage to bounce back and still releasing songs until today despite getting ZERO support.

Janina Rose I'm well aware of what X-Factor consists of and indeed X-Factor has talent, but what I'm trying to imply is that as long as your young and have just a tad bit of vocal control (even if you aren't good because only god knows how they got through in their first auditions) and have looks that young teens wont care about how bad you are as long as they can fathom over you. OneD has some great songs i will admit, but its just shear luck that they were able to make it big.

These boys were worked TOO HARD, 4 tours and 5 albums in 5 years. Zayn left to one-up Harry as he wasnt resigning, he destroyed the final tour and cost them all a huge bonus. If they would've have just taken a break like planned, after their contracts ended and talked it all through, they would have most probably reconciled by now. So much needless stress caused. This business is brutal.

watching this in 2018. so unbelievably proud of them and how they lost and picked themselves up and have become globally acclaimed artists that have touched so many peoples hearts and made so many people smile including myself. im so glad i could watch them grow up from What Makes You Beautiful to all the new songs and albums they have as solo artists.

May sound hard but losing xFactor was the best thing that could happen to them. Look at where they played last weekend. Wembley wouldn't even be in their minds if they won the xFactor. That's why I don't understand some of you guys that are angry about that, cause it's you that brought them to Wembley and all the other stadiums this year. xFactor probably wouldn't even get them that far.

Yea, you don't have to win to become big. Look at 1D who got 3rd and Cher Lloyd who got 4th, they're not even 10 times more popular than Rebecca or Matt. Same thing happened in '09 (last year) where Joe McElderry won and Olly Murs and Stacey got 2nd and 3rd, yet they're way more popular.

watching this in 2018. so unbelievably proud of them and how they lost and picked themselves up and have become globally acclaimed artists that have touched so many peoples hearts and made so many people smile including myself. im so glad i could watch them grow up from What Makes You Beautiful to all the new songs and albums they have as solo artists.
