What a cute little story! Ok, so if you know me, you know I don't really do fluff. But ever since Reset I've loved Bai Jing Ting, and he is adorable AF in this drama. I love his voice and his facial expressions so much. It was also super refreshing as every single female character isn't out to back stab anyone, they all look out for and support each other even through tough times. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. And the side couple Shang Guan Jing and Yin Qi omg I can't even XD tbh they deserve their own tribute edit but I just didn't have the time and my laptop is on it's way to an early grave but they were a highlight of the drama for me, as well as the Solar Term Ladies XD

They are THE BEST drama couple. Period. Always trusting, always supportive, always positive and will go all the way for each other’s love. They are so sincere and kind and respectful and loving to each other. Never a toxic moment. If only real life could be like them. ❤

This is such a sweet and wonderful series.. Romance, comedy, drama all balanced together and all of the actors are perfect for their parts. Bai Jing Ting and Tian Wi Wei are perfectly delightful together!! I love, what seems to me, the way he talks through his teeth when feeling shy and she is just an adorable little love bug!! I binged watched it and after watching this video I'm going to re-watch the whole series again but slowly and with care because there are so many delightful bits you can miss the first time through!! I'd like to see them together again.
This looks incredibly cute, you sold this story really well (I especially love that the women are not all back-stabbing one another in this drama) and this edit is so aesthetic for a story edit too! 💕

It's one of my fav c-drama, definitely worth a watch. All characters are well-thought-out, and it's as adorable as it is hilarious.
i really love this drama, not so heavy, just the right amount of competition, drama, stress. I like the storyline...the last few episodes were so sweet and romantic. Their chemistry is perfect. The ending was so satisfying. kudos to everybody who worked hard for this. This will be one of the cdramas I wouldn't forget.

They are a sweet couple and this edit really captures all their lovely moments together. I started watching this drama because of Bai Jing Ting, especially because in most of his recent dramas that I have watched, be it ‘ You are my Hero’ or Reset or Destined he had played warm, supportive non toxic characters or even if they are flawed, there is character growth, I stayed though because of the sisterhood and friendship between the female characters. For a change the women in the harem seem to understand their mutual struggles and chose to support each other rather than drag each other down.
I love this couple. I love Yin Zheng's gentle demeanor and Li Wei's humor.
After watching New life begins enjoyably, I’m here again. Thank you so much for introducing me this touched and lovely story. It becomes one of my favorite series all time 🤍

He was like "I don't know you but since you are my wife I will protect you with my life". And then he went to great lengths to love her. This is the only drama where I felt polygamy can be used as a main theme. I loved his second wife. She was the real hero behind everyone's success.

For who new to the actors: pls go watch his old drama: Reset (2022), You are my hero, Ordinary glory. 3 different type of character, totally worth watching
and I think the character closest to bai jingting is xing kelei in you are my hero with sandra ma, many parts of the film remind me of the variety shows the two of them have done. he's a bit cold, stiff, and shy but also sweet and funny when he's with Sandra or the people closest to him in the drama. i really like this cp but when the rumors of him with song yi came out and i went back to watching YMH i realized they seemed really close like friends and comfortable with each other. the bonus from bts is very funny

thanks! tbh I'm so surprised I watched and finished this one cause it's like 90% fluff lol! but there were so many funny scenes it kept me going! it was also pretty drama and angst free and i enjoyed that for once
@@Jatsuki I agree the show is very light hearted, but I think there is just enough angst to give the show real emotion (to make the viewer really care). For example (without too many details for spoliers), when the ML was ordered to marry the princess as his primary wife, I was brokenhearted for the FL.
Just a wonderful show. Light hearted and funny, but with enough emotional stakes to keep me really engaged and interested.

thank you ^_^ haha right?! I know it was so much fluff, I honestly don't know how it kept me intrigued every episode! I guess I just really loved all the characters, they were really well done. I think if it hadn't been a costume drama as well I wouldn't have made it as I really can't ever seem to finish contemporary romcoms haha

thank you so much XD tbh I really don't do fluffy shows very often but i was looking for some sort of costume drama and this was the only one airing and it was just so light hearted and easy to watch even though the plot wasn't anything special -oh except for all the ladies!! that was so refreshing!! no backstabbing or plotting, just women helping women succeed in a male dominated world, super wholesome! and i really loved just about every single character in this drama too which is super rare for me. even the secondary couple I liked ALMOST more than the mains!
