I leave SJPP May 30 and have Borda and Roncevales pre booked…after that I am winging it…first time on Camino and doing it solo..hoping all this rain and cold goes away! Buen Camino everyone!
Buying a jacket today. It has been cold. In the low 50's. We have been trying to pre-book and have had to bus, train and taxi it. It is my first time so I can't wait to see how you do it.
Lots of tour buses and it seems like they have booked most beds when we come onto any place.
Have a wonderful walk!! Love you!!❤
Wishing you a great journey of the heart and soul and a smooth path on your way to Santiago once again!
Thank you 👣
Looking forward to getting back. Aren't you walking soon? I seem to recall you had plans.
Oh, I've got plans--I've been planning, reading, watching, and researching the Camino since 2020. But I have to stop working first! My Camino probably won't be until 2026.
Flew from Sweden this morning with a stop in Paris for some sightseeing before traveling to SJPDP. Feels like we've already begun our Camino. Backpack weight is a harsh reality now but the excitement of this new adventure makes it doable. I guess we'll see how we feel in a few days. No blisters allowed! Buen Camino
Buen Camino 👣 we're on our way to Paris tomorrow.
@@TheCaminoGuide Paris weather was pleasant this evening. Temps in low 70s for the next couple of days with expected morning rain showers. 🌦🌝
I heard that the weather further along the Francés (further west) is extremely cold. Buen camino.
How are you getting that weather report?
Not interested in joining twitter or tik tok so I monitor via TH-cam. Nothing new yet so I assume you guys are getting settled in before walking. Seems it’s cold and rainy so you may have to buy warmer clothes to start. Interested in your take.
A bit of rain but it's warm. Mid-60's & possibly as high as 80 on Saturday. Should be okay. I don't mind a bit of rain. Reminds me I'm still alive...
How are you getting that weather report?
I just search for weather in the area of St Jean Pied de Port And this is the first one listed:
