Edgewater was the first place that I lived my my own. I love it so much that I every time I visit, I name it my "second home".
Years ago Edgewater was a very rich neighborhood. I remember my Aunt's talking about the dances at Edgewater Beach Hotel. Also the Aragon Ballroom! My Aunt's would go ballroom dancing there!
I believe my neighborhood, Rogers Park, was just named the most diverse in chicago - but so much love for Edgewater! To me those two are just an extension of each other. Best neighborhoods in the world in the summer. Love the vids. Go bears.

@@sunnni_ Yeah you’re right lol South Loop is amazing. Just way to congested and too many people for me. I need a more residential feel like Hyde Park. Plus I’ve always wanted to live on the north side. South Loop is absolutely fantastic though! Been here a year and half now.

Damn - thank you. My family moved from Uptown to Edgewater back in the 60's. So my upbringing was split between Uptown and Edgewater for the next 20 years. Ardmore and Foster beach were huge factors in my life. The changes in these areas is both sad and encouraging.
Edgewater is my favorite Chicago neighborhood. I love the different mix of people from all over the world.
Can you do Lakeview next? That’s where I may move if I move to Chicago!

The traffic isn't bad it's the parking. This area is so beautiful. But it's small.

Great video as always Luis! I love living in South Loop, but I wanna live in Edgewater now. I was going to moving there in 2018, but deciding to move in to Hyde Park (Which I truly loved). When my lease is up April 2023, I'm definitely moving to Edgewater. I love this neighborhood! Love your content bro. Been watching your channel for years. We gotta link. I'll hit you up on IG homie.
