I really don't get it at all. Stephanie didn't seem to have any interest in physical side of relationship. And it meant a lot for Eric. Eric wanted peaceful relationship and not fight all the time about their kids relationships. They were two very different people.

Exactly! I couldn't stand Ridge during these years either. He always wanted two women fighting over him. It's interesting that after Thorsten Kaye stepped into the role they let Ridge be with other women for a while. I liked Ridge and Caroline together, it was a breath of fresh air. He and Katie were pretty good too. I've found the character far more likeable in recent years.

Ashley is a good woman but the truth of the matter was she was warned about Ridge & Brookes history. Rick Eric Brooke & Taylor warned Ashley over and over about it she chose to ignore and while I do feel sorry for Ashley but she can't be entirely surprised. Heck even ridge warned her in a way.
