I took core math eventhough my percentage went down but still I was the topper of class in 11th so math really helps my advise is take math if you like if not don't even think about it
Applied maths is best for CA because they both have similar syllabus, on the other hand if you take Core maths CA syllabus will become really easy for you. But Core maths required a minimum of 3 hours per day practice.(Enhance analytical thinking) And Applied maths required your logical reasoning and 1-2h per day practice.(Enhance logical thinking) Now the choice is yours select according to your comfort level.

You can't take PCM with ap maths, it's compulsory to have core maths for that you have to standard maths, firstly pass in basic and give improving for standard or you can still choose PCB if u aren't interested in maths

Nah, Basic is too easy. If you take maths with pcm it'll be hard for you but if you're determined then all the best.
