I ❤ your paper map route descriptions! Seriously smart work navigating the snow bridges. 👏 Seeing a thunderstorm when you're above treeline is scary; so glad y'all got around it ok. Take care 9L, you're doing great! ✌️
What a blessed day from start to finish. That red hue of the mountain to the on trail views amazing. Thank you so much for bringing us along and taking the time to make these videos. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
Those snow bridges can be very helpful when you know they're stable, but very sketchy with warmer temps. Same as crossing a frozen lake. Always trust your gut and use caution.
Thanks for sharing that,it brought back memories.I went south on the CDT in 93, hit Glacier last day of May, kicking snow steps all day for about 10 days,no bridges in yet,had to ford everything.I had problems back then 🤣 finished 14 Oct.
Hey MJ, I'm impressed how you are able to smile and have such a sunny disposition on them uphill climbs. I'm huffing and puffing just watching from my easychair. Good job! Happy Hiking.
Hi Kelly, Just a word of advice about micro spikes. You should not glissade with them on. If your foot catches on the snow you can break your leg. If you must wear them keep your feet off the ground. Your hiking videos are great!
Nice shots of the scenery. You made a wise choice when attempting the snow bridges. You thought it first instead of just crossing. The slide down the snow I gathered you liked it. Fun! You did not have ice axes to stop your slide if you fell, but you went slow and thought things through. Wow! Yo saw a fox. Never have I but have seen coyotes and a wolf. Happy Trails!
I have walked Camino de Santiago and the Pyrenees was really nice views, but this was in another leauge I must say! Just breathtaking and wonderful 🏔️ Enjoy the walk and stay safe 🤗 ”Buen Camino” 👣 Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Your visuals and descriptions are so on point, educating me about this trail which my brother in law knows lots about asan avid hiker, smoke jumper and us national park volunteer for projects.
I agree with the others. I love when you pull out the map. The views are so beautiful and those ice bridges, forget it, so scary. Glad you found another way to get across. Question: why are so many permits needed?
Hi there 😊 I’m following a few PCT and AT hikers so I’m happy I found you on the CDT! Thank you for sharing the fabulous views so beautiful! Is anyone in your group also vlogging? I’m excited to follow your journey 😊
So beautiful! you should check out Black Diamonds whippet pole. its a ski pole with an ice axe pick. would be perfect for that section of trail. happy hiking!
Awesome day on trail ,, except for a couple areas with the snow shelves ..... love seeing Eagles in their element ,, if Todd is truly a town mascot ,, someone should briefly catch/trap him and put on a reflective collar ,,a night road crossing would not be in his favor .. Wow ! ,, dinner in town looked amazing !! .. Stay Safe .. .. map reading going north ??,, is that the way the CDT goes ?? ..
Hope you're doing well You're in our prayers for a safe trip In Jesus name Hey let us know if you ran into a big footage Or miss Sasquatch Or babies Bigfoot Anyway Be careful God bless😊
Looking forward to seeing her post about why she quit this thru hike. The blogs are already reporting it. That’s why she’s able to post every day. I mean staying in a hotel or hostel every damn day isn’t a thru hike. Go hike for a week at most. That’s a adventure. 3100 miles is just plain dumb. I for one am glad she quit this hike
When I was watching you and the team navigate Kelly I kept thinking how many native Americans traversed that on horses and on feet. Considering that Blackfeet Indian Reservation butts up to your location. Happy trails to you and keep up with the great videos Kelly

I have my entire family watching you. Since we're all from Florida we love the mountains.
Thanks for being our camera bearer.
What a blessed day from start to finish. That red hue of the mountain to the on trail views amazing. Thank you so much for bringing us along and taking the time to make these videos. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
I am in no shape for all of that hiking. It would probably kill me so I'm glad I can see that beautiful scenery through your lens.
Enjoying the clarity that your camera provides of those unbelievably breathtaking views!

Your hiking videos are great!
A hike like this, sure does deepen one’s faith that there is a higher power watching out for us. (Like when one escapes a harmful injury).
😅I'm so enjoying reliving Glacier. I enjoyed a summer there. ❤❤❤😊😊
I died when I heard "Can I pet that dog."

We did a glacier hike a few years ago and stumbled upon that bar and had such a great time! There’s a steak house in babbs that was soooooo good!
Wow you guys are in great shape hiking 19 miles and then going dancing 🎉❤.
... That's dancing ?? ... lol.. I guess the moves change with the generations ..
If possible, please keep sharing the route you were planning to hike at the beginning of your videos like this one.

You should definitely get one of those cheap, low weight plastic sleds, for those downhill moments,.. ☺️
Good job, Arkansas!
Looks like a fun group
Happy you made it! Way too early for The Big Sleep for you! 🤣
The snow crossings look positively dodgy, but on the plus side you didn’t have to carry a heavy water loadout.
"Can I pet that dog?" You travel with the best people! =)
Like severe 400 ft. Swan dive into that large pond 😮
🥇
5:28 Partial structure of the Old World.
It's official.... My Post Glacier Depression is back!!!

Videograghy is fantastic.
It’s very random to see a thunderstorm out in the mountains…
Those views are amazing!
That makes for a cold bottom
No mosquitoes on this trail
I would follow you!! 👍💪
Thanks for being safe while snow walking. We want you to be around for a while
Hey... nice marmot!
BTW, an eagle's nest is called an aerie. Cool, huh?
Great to hear Jesus praised! It must be really hard to stay on trail with the snow.
I'm really surprised you haven't seen any bears yet.
You are so lucky beautiful views lakes hikes everything have fun ma
In Idaho, I'd just call that "regular hiking. Meh. YMMV. A bridge "bridges" things.
Ya'll have a nice day.
I thought from you AT hike you were vegetarian/vegan? That's a hell of a steak! Looks like a great walk so far.
I ain’t never been a fool

She hasn’t quit
She never finished the PCT. I thought the CDT was harder than that. I look forward to seeing her post about quitting this thru hike too.
@@kimmyhaysstephens5651 Are you a relative?
I don't see you completing the cdt you will drop out
A lot are saying that because she never completed the PCT and the CDT is a lot harder.
Just keep sitting on your couch and watching me finish bubba
When I was watching you and the team navigate Kelly I kept thinking how many native Americans traversed that on horses and on feet. Considering that Blackfeet Indian Reservation butts up to your location. Happy trails to you and keep up with the great videos Kelly
Whenever I'm doing something sketch I try and get my friends to film by saying "I'll need the footage for my video or for the coroner's inquest."
