Thanks Pete. Just in time for me to do some CG testing on a few new planes. One question about the LIPO part of your tips. Often the battery will have a range, say 25c to 50c. The higher number is for short bursts---or is it? Say I have a 50c battery in a plane that calls for a 20c LIPO, and I run it wide open from takeoff to set down, am I liable to overtax something like the ESC, or motor, or even the battery?
    Thaks, Pete--always good.

Great video Pete, very informative and thorough I'm wanting to know how to figure flight times for li-po batteries and/or is there a site out there that covers this?

So after you determine the center of gravity with out the battery installed, do you place the battery so that the CG repairs the same as without the battery?

i have a question regarding pusher airplane propellers. you can reverse the wires to get the engine to run in reverse but how do you deal with the propeller! their are many comments regarding this. one is that you use a propeller that is marked with a "P" on it designating it as a pusher propellers but they are very difficult to find if not impossible! anther is to reverse the propeller and put it on back wards. but i have also been told that does not work. do you have any suggestions on how to deal with this problem. have you ever thought of doing a video on it!

While flying wont the battery move about and change the center of gravity? Nice videos by the way

great information!!! the CG for the Cessna 185 seems to be on the leading edge of the wing. At least the manual states that the CG is very close to the leading edge. But that does not make sense to me.

hi pete your videos are really helping me thankyou ,I bought a ready to fly volantex firstar pro, Im just starting out, the plane is really nose heavy with the battery that came with the plane. I will be using your way of finding my cg. so is it ok to tape or stick 2ps each side of the tail ? , theres no other place for the battery to go , I have read my instruction manual but to me its seem strange that on youtube people are flying these firstar with out weights, any idea lol

Alot of good points there Pete i read about alot of problems people are having planes catching fire, parts burning out, batterys running really hot,and planes being destroyed, this answers alot of ???s you just have to use common sense if you don't know then find out and stop blamming the manufactsure or even Banana hobby.

Like for an ex.if it says you can use a 3s or 4s battary don't use a 6s and if you plane is power hunger you wouldn't use a a 20c when it says use a 45c and then wonder why your plane catchs fire but this is what is going on from what i have been reading out there. Thanks for the tips Pete

Good video but please learn to get to the point and finish the sentence without adding more and more and more... and getting carried away... What you actually show at 7:34 should be the starting point of the video.

Pete, I love your videos, seriously so helpful and thanks for that... but you need to work on your script bro. You should be conveying the same message in half the time. You run off to details half way through your sentences and then come back to the subject later and kind of steer off the point. Anyway, just some positive criticism I hope you can learn from. Otherwise, you rule and please keep making the videos! Regards, W
