Maganda mga pre , legit. Mataas taste ko sa mga palabas. Nasa 8 out of 10 sya . Di lang sya normal na cliche. Lets face it. Maraming nababaduyan sa gawa ng kapwa natin pinoy, pero ito maganda. Sa una talaga hindi mo makikita na maganda sya until 3rd episode. And boom ang last episode. Suportahan ang mga pinoy artist. Subukan muna bago husgahan...
Aswang is actually an umbrella term for different race of monsters in the philippines. It can categorized as ghouls, vampires, witches, tiktik, manananggal, shapeshifter and etc... So tiyanak is also part of these umbrella. The term actually came from two words a(sin) and (B)awang which is salt and garlic.
thanks for sharing this info! actually in my province, the umbrella term for these creatures is “maligno” and aswang as a specific species and tiyanak are entirely different esp since their origin are completely different as well as their morphology and power attributes. however, tiktik, wakwak, and manananggal usually belong under the umbrella term aswang, in our culture, the tiyanak is separate. it’s probably regional differences in our local myths and culture as well. -nadz
Acoording to what my elders have told me, the Aswang are actually a specific species with specific races like the Manananggal, the Mandurugo, The Bubuu, The Tiktik, and probably more that I don’t know of

Aswang in tagalog or wakwak in cebuano is the generic term for Filipino creature of the dark.
