You mentioned reverse signal and brake lights. Is the tail light the same as the brake light? The tail light is the one not working but the brake light works fine.
Also what else could I use for the clips instead of that small (yellow) pry bar you're using?

In this car tail and brake are two options in the same bulb, so if your brake option works but your tail does not mean your bulb is partially defective and needs a replacement. You can carefully use a flat screw driver. Thank you
