You'll seriously learn more from this than you would in school.
This guy really gets how to explain NEW things, he has it down to a system, it's like he's studies the psychology of education or something. He REPEATS certain actions and words, he emphasizes words verbally. It's very much how you would teach a child something new, and if we are all beginners in this than more or less we are children when it comes to using this software. Very well done my dude, you are not only teaching me After Effects but also some cool tips for teaching others as well.
These videos are awesome! I am a beginner AE editor and I know some basics but still enjoy watching all your videos. Appreciate how you explain everything over and over again. Thank you.

hi, how do you turn on the point a or b in the timeline panel?

When I press the space bar to preview the project, the video is not displayed on the main screen, and at the bottom of the same screen, a small screen opens and shows the video, which also shows incomplete. May you help me?
note: I used Adobe Aftter Effect 2020 on MacBook Pro
everything is very neatly explained, but i have the issue where the position changes when i scale the shape. i've been on it for hours and i cannot figure out how to stop this from happening. someone please help

I am learning After Effects and your tutorials are helpful - however you explain simple things so long and the same thing in many videos.
I love this if you talk less and give the instruction on the spot because time is really valuable .I have been fallowing this up to now you could have done this in a one episode short and sweet . Pls don't make it complicated . I downloaded the project folder long time ago but I don't feel like to complete this... I felt sleepy ... I would like if you can make it so fast and delete my comment. If it is fell very bad for you .. Sorry if I hurt you....
The lesson is great. But when I change size its position gets automatically changed . Can you tell why its happening?

Pollywood TaDkA I just solved it! So basically, it has something to do with anchor points. You have to make sure that the circle’s anchor point is at the Centre of the circle when it’s at the starting position, so the position changes with the anchor point
whenever i am doing the scaling the circle is sliding to the right..
When I move the circle after setting the first keyframe, the anchor point in the center of the circle moves from the center of the circle to the center of the background layer. Why does it do that? Does that have any effect? The circle moves to the designated spot.
I managed to move the anchor point with the anchor point tool to the circle's approximate center with the anchor point tool (y). Now the result looks closer to your tutorial.
You don't actually show the "add keyframe" button in use, but mention in it in the recap at the end of the video.
5:15 freaky frames
Sometimes the SPACE BAR doesn't work. Is anyone know how to fix it?
For some reason, my keyframes will not paste! I select the timeline indicator and then ctl + V, but a keyframe is not added. I cannot figure out why. Any ideas?

Not quite sure about japanease anime, but it's used a lot in broadcasting and social media.
Japanese anime are most likely done using frame-by-frame digital drawings

because I really want to learn but I don't have credit card and enough money to pay for it.
Just create a new composition. Then click on rectangle tool (at the top panel we have some tools) draw an ellipse. And do what Gareth does. Follow carefully. I could not buy, because my bank does not allow to buy even the sum is not great.
you can download random clips from youtube or other pages and edit them just following the instructions from gareth. :) I currently use some clips from my camera
Sir its just a opinion....I think it's repetitive about those key frames things ...about scaling,positioning...rest are great.
