Yeah, Bungie did real damn good with the original Halo. Also, the Flood are a great enemy, far more existentially terrifying than your average space zombies, while still being viscerally horrifying. And the way they’re introduced is just phenomenal.

Yes, they did indeed take away the scared marine’s pistol so he doesn’t shoot you. You have three guesses as to why

Answer: The Cursed Mod causes the Magnum to be inverted. So when he tries to shoot you, the inverted pistol shoots himself. Which, to be honest, is both funny and a different story telling. Like you find a living marine only witness him blowing his brains out, because he wanted to escape the nightmare of Flood.

I worked professionally as a freelance for like a year or 2 before deciding it wasn't for me, not sure if my assets ever made it into anything, but the one game I know my work would have been used for, got canned during development.
