    I stayed at the La Estancia Hotel! I am missing so much about being in town. To see this is recent, only makes me wanna be there more. I appreciate the walk around town just as others has made mention that are familiar with Ajijic. It's a chill town but it has so many cool thing to see.

    Very cool, I had heard of this town, but didn't realize it was on the lake! Beautiful! The views reminded me a bit of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, which is also gorgeous. I'm glad that you saw a bit of the residential areas, too. I'm not sure on the origin of the rocks for the cobblestone streets, but they are very common in many parts of Mexico. Calles empedradas.

    I think you should go to Taxco Mexico an old mining town you will feel like you are in Italy or Spain .Guanajuato is also cool so is San Miguel de Allende another popular spot with a large number of American expats.

    Man, did I enjoy your video! I lived in Ajijic for five months, back in the summer of 2018, and walked those same streets on a daily basis. And, as a retired photographer, I couldn't have found a more beautiful place to take pics. I actually have plans to move just down the road from Ajijic, sometime after July of this year. Think I'm gonna try out Chapala itself for six months or so.
    I also plan to upload some videos to TH-cam, sort of a daily documentary while living there. I've actually got a couple of videos on my channel, of the last time I was in the Lake Chapala area, if you'd like to check them out. Also, its' only got about 260 followers, but I'll be sharing this video on my "On the shores of Lake Chapala" FB page. Hope you pick up a few more subscribers from it. BTW, you have a great, relaxing voice for your videos, and use it sparingly. I like that. Lastly, while I was down there, I asked one of the locals where all the cobblestone rocks came from. Not sure if true, but he said that most came from the base of the mountains surrounding the lake. Again, great video, thanks.

      When my grandmother retired from teaching, she moved to Ajajic, and lived there for many years. With her retirement money she could live extremely well there in comparison to what she could have afforded back in the States. She had a 3 bedroom compound, and we used to go there to visit her. Had some amazing times there, and exploring the nearby countryside. We took a road trip out to the coast, to Manzanillo, which was fantastic. I should also mention that all this happened back in 1968! Seeing this video now shows that some things have obviously changed, but so much also looks just like it did when I was walking those streets 53 years ago.

    Great video if you going to Mexico city go to a bull fight that would be interesting or maybe check out ancient Aztec ruins or something cool like that bro you gotta make it to venice,Italy,ibiza, The Great Pyramids of Egypt, The Valley of the Kings,Istanbul,Dracula's Castle,Aokigahara forest in Japan, mount fuji, Jerusalem, the tunnels in France with all the skulls i think China has the longest Glass bridge that would be cook to see ya walk across, Dubai i don't know at some point in this video you asked for suggestions on where to go so those i mine but if you don't make it to any of them I'll still watch cause cause you do a good job of informing of what is going on in the area's you visit and what to expect peace out travel safe

Gonna have to check them out when I return. You are so much fun! Just like me having a drink every single place that looks inviting. We should hook up😄

    You gotta go to Grutas de Tolantongo in a deep canyon in the state of Hidalgo. It's a little, HIDDEN, fairly new tourist resort that you won't believe exists if you like thermal pools, a thermal cave and a thermal RIVER. (Mexicans want to keep this place a secret, so look it up. You will NEITHER REGRET NOR FORGET this unbelievable PARADISE. Lots of videos on TH-cam, but bring hiking shoes AND water shoes!)

    Surprised and sad you didn't learn how to pronounce Ajijic. "J" is "H" in Spanish. It's Ah-hee-heek. And we don't have a 'boardwalk.' It's a malecon....mal-ee-cone.

    God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today! and *please repent.*

    Everything with metal bars like you are in a prison. It means that it’s not really safe and it looks poor.

    • @suegarn
      @suegarn 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I lived in Ajijic for six years. It's a paradise, not a prison. The metal bars are for stabilization, because the building are made with brick and rebar...no wood. A lot of the local Mexicans may be cash poor, but they have things that money can't buy....close family love and happiness. Many expats that move here have found peace and happiness in their lives as well. You should try it! Maybe it will change your closed mind!
