@davidh545 David, You have a terrific layout. I share your love for passenger trains. I make my overpasses out of 1/8" masonite. Thanks for sharing your labor of love! Joe Daddy
Wow, you definately know how to operate these things. The best I can do is an MRC Standard DC Controller with momentum and a Broadway Limited DC Master Sound control. Plus a Bachman E-Z Commander DCC Controller.
Thats a darn nice paint job then, how long did it take to paint and was it difficult? Btw, this is my favorite HO layout on youtube. Its sophisticated and detailed, yet you clearly have kept the spirit of actually having fun running trains. I only hope I can make a layout this good.
holy crap this things auwsome i'm starting my own, n-scale and then a big one that's h0 my grandpa had tons of them before he died thx for the ideas and the great vid
You call that small, that's massive & awesome! "Small" is me using the dining room table and dangerously hanging the railway across the edge of the table. ):
I love this video very much, very nice comentating too. is very well done, the layout looks vrery large, but when anyone builds a railway its never big enough is it? hehe. thanks for the great video
As a collector of 1930's & 40's style diecast trucks, I would like to know what models are utilized in your layout. The closest I can find are the resin kits which are ridiculously expensive.
I really appreciate your historic commentary about each of these passenger trains. Excellent! Thank you.
WOW! David, many compliments to you in a great looking layout while at the same time, a very well organized train room.
Very impressive layout! Love all the different 1950's trains that you have running on the tracks. Realistic layout design I might add!
your use of a bookcase as the terminal is a great idea! it allows you to view the platforms nicely:)
Wow, impressing!
I love your layout, it's very inspiring!

@TheGibsonman59 I used 22' wherever I could a some 18". Just didn't have enough room for larger radius.

Take care,
Ryan
Im a little goofy but i prefer the more the more expensive passenger cars in HO with the lighting and all the grab rails etc!
Love the layout, what company makes that stainless steel colored CB&Q f3? Is that Athearn Genesis?
thats a cool layout
Great layout, trains, action..... the camera shake is a little disconcerting... maybe more shots from tripod...
excelente!!!!

With the still pictures you can take are you able to to make prints if you wanted to?
The layout is 8 feet by 13? Do you figure I could do the same thing, minus the Chicago Station?
Great layout,
Take care,
Ryan
Do you think you could give me a few pointers on making a cool layout like yours
nice steam locomotive
What control system do you use?
where did you get the car over passis?
All you need now is the Texas special and the meteor!
