I love the fact that tom has real notes to give them when they find stuff it really adds to the gameplay
It's part of legit RPGs, he's probably got chapter outlines and event trees and stuff planned. It's one of the things that I think turns people off to some of these, even though from watching these, it seems like a ton of fun.
al145 I guarantee that there are hardcore rpg'ers out there who are just raging bc tom gives them so much leniency. Its so much more fun to watch this way

Allen Spurgeon Personally I think letting players do what they want as long as it's plausible is the only way to be a good GM.
As a DM I always let my players to do what they want, but suffer the consequences of their acts. If my plans are ruined, I improvise and prepare new ones for the next session. Nowadays I almost never have to do big changes because I'm prepared to almost everything.
The gang needs to find out where the monster's chamber pot is so that Professor Grizwald can obtain pertinent knowledge from it!

This is my favourite RPG, and these guys my favourite to watch play games. So this is kinda perfect for me.
