This show's appeal is the void left by whatever ESPN and the other networks pass off as content. Somehow we sportsfans became the enemy of their narrative. This show is restoring the balance. Think happy thoughts. The others are swimming in misery.

I think Pat will continue to get great interviews because he doesn't have an ulterior motive like most journalists. He's not looking for a story or a headline to sell. His headline is simply talking to the guest, and he's good at getting them to engage with interesting questions.

This is probably the only show that there isn't a narrative to point out the faults of others. Just softball questions that aren't serious. I think the guests know and word is getting out.

I never would have thought that Pat and Phil had anything to talk about. Whoever booked this obviously thought differently.
Phil has been available for over 25 years to anyone with a microphone, but somehow no one but McAfee sits down with him and orchestrates an in depth interview like this…..proves once again that ESPN and the other sports networks just don’t understand how to produce a true sports show.

I think a guy like McAfee can do it because he has the available air time and doesn’t have the risks that an ESPN does. McAfee doesn’t have shareholders to answer to so he can risk potential controversy by giving a guy a live mic for a half hour. That said I love that this forum exists in the likes of a McAfee for sports or a Rogan for other things.
Please have him back on the show multiple times if he's willing. What a legend

Love Pat's 17 part questions that circle back and over themselves 15 times and end up being 3 part questions but take 90 seconds to ask, leaving the guest to just pick one topic and respond to it
