I just know that you're like history stuff. in Indonesia, there's British stuff too. if you have time, you can visit Kebun Raya Bogor, one of Thomas Stamford Raffles's things. or you can visit Bengkulu. such as Malborough fortress, Thomas Stamford Raffles house (now become governor of Bengkulu house), monument of Thomas Parr, and the British cemetery

Hi Bradley. I think I've seen your short videos on Tiktok or something, but this time it came up on my TH-cam feed and I'm quite happy to watch it. Firstly, the choice of places you visit tends to be different from the others. It feels more in touch with the people and not the 'ivory tower' tourist content -let's say eating fancy dinner in Bali or going to a beach club. There's a strong educational side too, plus your little comments that reinforce the narrative presented in the video. That's interesting to me. The way you add your views on racism for example, it really shows your character and adds a kind of 'strong style' to your content. Secondly, your character is quite positive. You have good manners and I really appreciate that, you can be yourself without having to leave your etiquette. There are some travel youtubers who go to Indonesia and they're like 'I don't care whose country this is, I'll do what I wanna do'-which is likely to get you in trouble, no matter what country it is. Thank you for showing good manners, should be an example for other vloggers. I think this is the longest comment I have ever written on TH-cam. Hope you enjoy exploring Indonesia, greetings from West Java. Don't forget to stay happy, and I will look forward to more videos!
@@Foxxx-f4v that's such a wonderful and kind thing for you to say. I'm still learning and I have anxiety and a bit of the tism, haha. But you wrote exactly how I try to be.. Respect is super important to me, and I love going places that aren't typical! My dream is to be educational, entertaining and respectful and honest! But it's a lot of work haha, and I struggle to have some kind of script internally, I have to work on that, rather than just blindly hoping for the best 😂. Really though, thank you!! I plan to go to madura next, specifically because many tourists I've met say - "why would you go there? There's nothing there!" and because locals tell me it's dangerous. I don't believe it will be. I was told the same about previous countries and places, and found nothing but kindness and real people ❤️👍. Stay well!

hi, for food we don't say 'bagus', we say 'enak'. Bagus is for appearance (the view is good/pemandangannya bagus) or performance (mesinnya masih bagus/the machine is still good).
Thank you! I will try to remember. Does bagus work on any level, is it just minor wrong or is it entirely wrong? In English, "Good" can't be used for food either - because good is about morality, good bad, etc. But of course, English has evolved and the meaning has changed. I am just curious if it's similar in language?
