@Anthony Frias his point still stands. 2x Vanguard giving double armor also means that Poppy's shield is waaay more effective.

You can raise 1 costs to 3* even if they're contested, there are so many of them.
@@MrShokolol but the chance of you actually getting it to 3 star is much lower, especially the leona later into the game where the percentage for getting 1 star units are much lower. honestly seeing 2 leonas pop up when he already had 7 on level 7 rates is an abnormal level of luck.
here's some quick math
probability of seeing leona at lv 7 (if we assume there is an equal amount of 1 cost units in the pool, though there isn't):
8.3%(chance it is leona out of tier 1) x 19%(chance of one cost at lv 7) is the chance to get 1 leona. square that and you have the chance to get 2 leonas, which was (0.01577)^2 therefore making the final probability to be 0.00025 chance of that happening. (yes this didn't take into account the fact that there isnt a equal chance to get leona compared to the other tier 1 units but that just makes it even lower)
I mean, he did say not to go that comp of his cuz of his spats and circumstances... anyways, who was rly contesting those units? Some other guy still got 3 star kha early m8, contested is a bit of a stretch

I'm not too sure about these donkeyroll changes, though.
Especially in a trade sector game you'll have games with at least three 3Star units.

I did something I had never done before on TFT the other day. Your 7 3* units game made me think of it. I won a game with 6 gold traits. Space Pirates, demo, mercenary, mana reaver, sniper, vanguard. Lol. Not sure if this is super common bc I’m pretty new but it was a fun game.

his bench was full so the unit from the carousel got put on the board thats how it always has been
If your bench is full and you get a unit From the carousel can you have 5 units out at level 4?
@@Fish_Uber that is how it works at any level with every carousel. Its been that way since set 1.
That surprised me too, I usually always sold to fit the unit in, but I guess I short sold myself there lol

You could egroll caitlyn, xayah, tf, fiora and leona or poppy, then go Shen and wukong for blademaster/chrono/vanguard and top it off with a celestial for healing. Your carry would be xayah with many stattick shivs.

As Timo said, if your bench is full when you enter the circle, the unit you get from the circle is fielded instead. It's a glitch that's been around since TFT launched.
I mean, rolling % got increased for 1 costs, 3 star one costs got buffed, and bronze synergies got either buffed or are better due to 4/6 nerfs...sounds like donkey rolling is back 👀

You think hyper roll cybernetic could be a thing now (3 star leona and fiora super early and hopefully get a 2 star lucian) and that just carries you until 6 cybers.

warren boy That was Force of Nature, you get it and you do not have to put it on a champion for it to do its thing. It is giving you the ability to put one more champion on your board. If you put it on a champion, it does not make the champion better, it just takes up a space for an item. So you just leave it on your bench
Unless you're running Cybernetic and have a cybernetic unit that doesn't have an item FoN counts to give the bonus. Otherwise, yeah leave it on the bench lol

I have a question. At roughly 6:20 you are level 4 and have 5 champions on the board. No force of nature and you are over the champion cap, yet it still works. How is that possible? Thanks
Feels like early Vanguard early rolling is gonna be nuts this days, Poppy+Leona early 3 star +add Cyber at lvl 4 with Lucian=totaly unkillable Leona.(Leona now blocks 200dmg at 3 star)
I think this game is a good example of why having more frequent spats leads to more interesting build opportunities.

I think the reason why this works so well is that the game has to keep the percentage chance of getting a 1 star unit even tho 3 of them are still in the carousel so more 1 cost units the higher chance to 3 star more 1 cost units

This lobby in particular was super weak. Last 2 players were playing A tier comps. I don't expect this comp to do well in general honestly.
You don't 3 star everything, try 3 starring Xayah and slapping shivs on her, fiora's stun is pretty nice too, Ideally it's Xayah, Fiora, Shen, and whatever else you happened to get
Make xayah your carry and you can get atleast top 4

On 2-5 is he meant to have 5 units on the field. It literally says 5/4 in red and then keeps all the units

If you gain a unit from the circle and have a full bench it can't put it anywhere else but on the field so yes it kinda is an exploit but Riot seems to not do anything about it.

PBE is a server that gets new patches earuler than the normal servers so you can try out new stuff before it comes to live servers
Please vote this up for all the new ppl: you can have +1 unit in the field if your bench is full before carousel. It's working this way for years. Toast did this at lvl 4

i generally wait till lvl 5 and basically 3 star nearly whole team cost 2 units
This shit works, with Dense Galaxy got 2nd 7 3 stars(6 1 costers and Syndra), without got 4th 3 blademasters 4 Chrono 2 Celestials(3 1 costers)

Kha 3 is a pretty good carry now. Infiltrator, void, brawler, Chrono, valk got me a first today
Playing against handicaps pretty much anything can get one to first place. Kha is weak as hell if your opposition has the slightest understanding about positioning.
@@juggmkj that's where the rest of the squad comes in. If you can out position them with kha and blitz it's really nice. This was in plat/diamond, so🤷🏻♂️

When your bench is full on the carousel round, the carousel unit goes on the board. But as long as you have too many units on board, you can't move any units on your board
is it just me or you played with 5 units on 6:20?

You cant move units though. They get "locked" in place untill bench got a spot free.
