It looks like it’s in St Paul, for the Taste of Minnesota music and food showcase - which was always a weird event. ‘97 sounds about right, based on the lineup. What’s truly novel is that mark perlman plays the tearing guitar solo (Gary’s traditional role) on Kraig Johnson’s tele, while Kraig has assumed Mark’s usual role on bass. I think they were having fun in front of a “home crowd” who were largely wasted college kids and curious folks from St. Paul. Perfect example of seasoned pros having fun and keeping it interesting for themselves.
