Sanur, Bali First impressions 🇮🇩

Our first impressions of Sanur!
We have spent the last few months in Uluwatu, which we love so why would we want to leave?
Recently we have heard good things about Sanur and when Jai's mum came to visit in June, she spent a week there and raved about it.
So we thought we would go check it out for ourselves. Although we only spent 24 hours there, we definitely see the appeal.
Things that stood out for us:
- Sidewalks!!! (its so easy to get around Sanur by foot as there are sidewalks almost everywhere)
- Lots of shopping: there is an abundance of local shops selling souvenirs, clothing, sunglasses etc and they have just opened a shopping mall called Icon where you can find well known fashion & lifestyle brands
- Restaurants: A lot of the restaurants are beach front so you can enjoy dinner with a view
- Family friendly: perfect place for kids as the beach is pretty flat and there is activities to do such as hiring pool toys for the beach & bikes to ride along the boardwalk.

A big giant Yawn. Sanur, Ubud holds little mystery or allure anymore. Traditional Bali in Southern Bali -- good luck!!!

As an Indonesian, I like CANDIDASA in East Bali. Very lay back and quieter. It is like Bali 40 years ago. There is Virgin Beach, hidden behind a hill. You may want to visit. Enjoy Bali. 🙏✌🇮🇩
