I miss my cat, when we was little but not super-little, I used to play this and read the comics, and we would hang out... ...this used to just remind me of Sonic, but now it also reminds me of the good times with my friends

He had a good run, and the day b4 he started showing symptoms, I felt the urge to protect and care for him as if there were some kind of threat, like, paranoia, but by proxy. So, I gently combed through his furr, it was a beautiful sunny day, I gave him a saucer of milk, and cat treats and layed next to him in the sun, and played with him, and then, as I was falling asleep in the early morning a day and a half later because my sleep cycle is uneven and I am awake far longer than I sleep most of the time: He lets out a blood curdling scream, and I think maybe he's old and clumsy so one of his claws may've gotten stuck in the carpet and twisted, so I check all of his claws and they aren't stuck to anything, but he's struggling like something is wrong. Nobody in my support group was available that day, and of course that's the day the grim reaper decides to show up. Eventually I got my mom to come home from work early, and take us to the vet, but all the could do was put him down. I was very mad at the vet, because, we were there a year ago, and there were no signs of cancer, but now apparently he had cancer all over his body pushing down on his spine and other things and causing neurological damage (but apparently in cats it can grow fairly rapidly) (I am no longer mad at the vet). He was in pain the whole time, and didn't want to be touched, because whatever was wrong with him made him really irritable, and prior to the vet's office he tried to throw himself off of my mom's bed in an angle that would land him on his neck, and because I prevented his attempted suicide he got really pissed and treated me like an adversary, so in addition climbing me the way a monitor lizard runs up an unsuspecting tourist, he also bit my hand in a way which drew blood for the first time since we've known eachother. At first my mom told me he'd be fine, but then she realized something was up, and tried to come home as fast as he could. The reason he was on top of my mom's bed, was because he was underneath it to calm down, but then he had a seizure under there, and it had metal support structures underneath which he was smaking into and I was powerless to cushion him because he was just an unpredictable blur of claws and couldn't really be safely intercepted. When I told him, they were going to euthanize him and "make him dead, he let me hug him one last time for a really long time, without getting upset or pulling away this time, but then I had to leave the room. My mom was there for his passing. She said he probably didn't want me to see him go, anyways, and as I'm writing this, you've made me cry, so, yeah, kindof mad at you now. But know you didn't mean anything by it, I just get embarrassed easily, and it's early in the morning as I'm writing this, so I wasn't prepared for emotional spikes

I thought this song was untouchable, but you took the risk and made it into something equally as beautiful as the original. Arguably one of my favorite pieces of music ever, and you did wonders to it. Nice. Six year old me would love this too.
I recently used some birthday money to buy this game and an aftermarket gamecube controller for my Wii. The soundtrack alone was worth it. This song manages to sound better somehow, hats off to you Boulder. The only remix of yours I can truly consider better is Dragon Valley.
I've always loved this track back in the day becuase since i live in south america and i never knew about the Sonic comic series before, when i had the collection i spent a few hours checking every cover issue and feeling quite bad not being able to read the comics ... And the music helped me to kept staying and watching the cover issues. Anyways i enjoy this remix a lot you did a very nice job and of course the artist jamo who did a nice artwork too. (bad english sorry)

This is so well done, I don't think there's a better mix out there, this sounds like option menu music from a modern sonic game, and don't even get me started on the nostalgia, I never felt such a strong feeling like that before, this shit touched my soul in a way I haven't felt in a long ass time and I want to thank you for giving these emotions to me and anyone else who felt like this as well. Artwork is AMAZING as well. From my first touch on a dreamcast controller, to the first time I played any video game ever, (Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast) to the first video game console I ever owned(GameCube) and the first game I ever owned, (Sonic Mega Collection:Sonic and Knuckles playing as Sonic) was the first time I ever felt such a feeling of joy and blissfullness that this music gives me. Its really weird and yet so incredible I cant even describe it. Wow, strong stuff... I almost cried I swear to God, and I literally NEVER cry. That's how much this meant to me, thank you.

God I love you. This song always fills me with insane nostalgia. It gives me chills as well. Certainly a song that makes you look back and just... wonder. About what everyone went through. Just in life and in the Sonic Series. That's why I really loved the Archie comics. They seriously showed just how severe the situation with Sonic, Sally and the F.F.s. With Sonic seeing his Uncle Chuck being roboticized... How desperately he wanted to safe at least a small inkling of his family. Just, all sad. All incredibly sad. But it's still memories. Ya know? GREAT interpretation!
My goodness. I have no words to describe how chill and magnificent this track is! We happen to have Mega Collection Plus on our old PlayStation 2. We got the game a while back, but it STILL feels nostalgic, despite me not being a 90's kid. I still just sit there, looking at the covers of long gone, old Archie Sonic comics, whether silly, or cool. Wonderfully nostalgic, even a little sad, but regardless, a beautiful tune nonetheless! Keep up the amazing work, Lil Boulder! ^^ P.S. The chill strums of the guitar (not sure what type it was, but it isn't the electric one) and piano are gorgeous!
