Back in the day, before 6.0, you could reliably angle at 45 degrees in the KV line, and still bounce shots on the hull…side armor being roughly equal to the front. I think this was mostly a psychological thing…everyone was used to a lesser angle, and seeing so much side, they’d shoot there, and your tracks would absorb it. Players may be more wise to this now…
