Aqueduct is always a hit and miss situation. Go at any flood gate u always go to but go before sunrise or before sunset. Don't waste anytime during the noon hours. I used to do good with sardine or bloodworm.

how many grass shrimp do you take with you fishing and how many do you actually end up using. i know it only takes one to catch a fish. reason i ask cuz i find maybe 5 at the most and i think thats not enough for a day trip. by the way great video and thats exactly how low the water was when i went and didnt get any bites, i was fishing about where that guy got mad at you for crossing their lines.

    • @fellowfisherman5055

I usually have at least 10 for myself just in case i catch more dink and lose all my bait. But it's only a 1 time use for me. Once I go home then I throw them out.

@@fellowfisherman5055 well i tried going later in the afternoon and i did get one keeper .i had maybe 8 shrimp with me and ran out of bait. i was getting bites right after i cast but i wasnt able to set the hook. caught it on my last bait. lol. three asian guys were fishing next to me and they were bring in one after another. they had 7 keepers on a stringer. then two more showed up so i guess they were legit .
      thanks for the tips.

New fishermen always be trying to fish with small lines to prove a point. While, this is cool for carps and such for other fish, mortality rate goes up. There's nothing fun about fighting stripers on a 4 lb. line. If you really want to do this to prove a point, try it will a Megabass lure. I'll give you proper credit.....and yall people need to learn how to remove hooks from the throat. Too many dead fish at 152 and Check 12 bc of these amaters.

Any striper I measure that is 18 exactly, I usually let them go. I usually take the 19inch and up.
