Soft Kill are in that elite select group of bands like The Cure or Nine Inch Nails that have never dropped a bad album. Seriously, my wife and I have their entire discography of what is available and it is absolutely stellar! I love the subtle Husker Du vibe that leaks into this album. Just throw a dart. You won’t find a bad album or song.
When my spine broke Iverness was constantly on my playlist. I love Soft Kill. I listened to the new album today and it is one of their best by far. Hearing the securus call, and hearing the chorus plead for the phone call not to be taken by the CO was all super close to home. Real talk, if they lost their phone call they did something bad tho. Lol. Masterpiece of an album guys.

Soft Kill an amazing " Happy Dark" sound very emotional voice, have not listened to this type sound in years. Just what my playlist was missing. Listened to every song on the album, I loved every song. Keep recording those wonderfully emotional tracks. Loving it.
