CLARIFICATION: in the original video discussion, I insinuated Nate had taken a Barry Richardson principle without permission. That was unfair and incorrect. With regard to the Richardson gimmick, Nate has added an extra "something" that makes it possible to produce *any outcome you want*. This takes it above and beyond the Richardson original, which offered only limited choices for your outcome, and certainly not one that could benefit the performer in the way Nate's gimmick does. Nate's idea is a major improvement and deserves to be considered an independent achievement, built on the shoulders of giants, as is common with so many moves, sleights, and ideas in magic. Any implied theft was not my intent, and I therefore edited the video to remove that discussion so future viewers will not be confused. Thanks to all for your understanding, and especially to Nate Staniforth for his graciousness and patience.

Well the description of the Dollar to impossible location sounds great.

Great review, thank you. This was a book i considered buying. I've bought a book because of your review on it, and now I've saved some money. I appreciate your work and honesty.

Great honest review, Jeff. I’ll be passing on this one, not for me. Also not a fan of the limited release language. Appreciate the insight into the book’s contents!

Grateful for these reviews. Nate is an awesome guy- this sounds like a 'specific' book.

I have nothing against Nate. In fact, I've never met him! I'm just reporting my take on the book. You're right that it's somewhat 'specific.' Thanks for taking time to comment!

Thanks for the review - I loved this is real magic but wasn't sure about this one due to cost etc. Helpful review that this isn't for me.

Thanks for this review. I would like to ask you a question. Do you have any recommendations for a book that is about the magicians’ experiences during different performances? Like real life scenarios that ended well or were unrecoverable? Also something that might explore the history of the magicians career and insights? Thanks in advance

I don’t believe there are many books for what you’re seeking. AbracaDAMMIT! 1 and 2 come to mind to explore magicians’ experiences, but I’ve not actually read them.
