He has always been. People kinda forgot about how good spargo was because he retired for some months. He was almost Mk Leo level and eveb Leo said Spargo could surpass him in the future.
Sparg0’s DI being impeccable combined with Cloud’s weird combo weight for Mario made this look so hard for Kurama. The other top players (including Leo) should try learning how to DI like that.
I have mixed feelings I'm a Mexican and root for my brothers but I'm a Mario main and i also root for Kurama Wich makes it pretty weird feeling with the result.
Not trying to be mean here but please stop picking ps2 to fight sparg0 on yes mario has a lot of pretty dam good combos on this stage but if you pay attention to sparg0 it looks like he has mastered this stage a lot even when sparg0 streams viewer battles i seen him play on this stage a lot he knows the stages and matchups really well. Also kurama and sparg0 are some of the youngest players to beat leo. Kurama beat leo at frostbite and sparg0 a few different times. Both amazing players.
