@@chooseyourlife9894 It's really NOT that hard.
I'm 66 disabled with bad heart. Just took mine out of a 2000 Nissan Maxiam in about 45 minutes. Now to put the new one in.
I ordered one from a seller on ebay. Same spec and warrenty as parts store. parts store $ 175.00 cheapest one " ebay $ 75.00 delivered.

@@wisdombear4965 It is not bad, but takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours on the ground. If you are in NY where we experience a lot rust thanks to saltwater and winter salt, it is a different experience.

Good camera work and close mic sound on the voice is A1. Move the compressor to another location with a longer line and you're perfect!

It is always interesting to get that call from a customer stuck halfway through the job. I just get pissed when it is a Sunday, they are panicked and pressuring you like it was your fault.

even watching this video makes me remember all the times i laid in nasty shit doing this type of thing. Thankfully i only work in a shop now lol. Why the hell do you use air tools on the road? One milwaukee fuel impact and electric ratchet is worth its weight in gold 10 fold.

Bought battery soon after getting it. It lasted around 3 years. Just got a new battery this week. We have to replace the alternator now, too. Coils and plugs were changed twice, brakes twice. Had an oil leak in the upper oil pan gasket seal. And small stuff like new headlights and tail light housings hood shox, windshield wipers, tires alignments, oil changes, and so on

When placing the eye loop connection over the b terminal there’s supposed to be a washer over the plastic isolator piece right? Can’t have hot current just touching that plastic piece

    Does anyone know??!!!
so the alternator wiring harness appears to have two clips a bigger one and a smaller one. In this video I saw the smaller one was not connected and he didn't reconnected at any point. Is it basically you choose one larger or one smaller depending on the alternator? I finished the job and I'm very thankful for this video. Very helpful and I really appreciate it. But at the end of the job the smaller clip or connector on the wiring harness was not connected to anything so I wanted to make sure it didn't need to go anywhere. Thank you for your help. God bless

Sampson Tartt well considering it’s taken me and my friend a couple of hours I imagine a few hundred on top of the 200$ for a new belt (assuming you get a new one) and factory alt so I would guess 500+

If u remove the fans it will come out the top. Just be careful with the radiator that u don’t puncture it. Slide a piece of cardboard in front the radiator to protect it from the alternator when ur pulling it up and out

Sorry, but this is a poor effort. Rarely, if ever were we able to actually see where the bolts were that you were unscrewing. You went so fast that all the camera picked up was your sleeve most of the time and you didn't show any of the belts being removed. If it were me, I'd remove this and do another one where you actually tried. Bad job all around.
