I'll be sitting my test for my restricted in Manukau tomorrow, may I ask for your tips and feedback on regards to this? I understand this is for the full license but a few tips wouldn't hurt. I did a mock test earlier today from this message's time stamp and had failed with 8 errors given that these errors were repetitive mistakes, of course, thanks to this I understand what needs to be done and can fix the issues since the instructor was really pressuring and giving me harder routes and traffic was rather worrying. My test for Manukau will be held this Thursday 28th December so thankfully I won't have any issues with any of that due to it being at 8 AM. My issues (errors) were lack of blind spot checking, proper mirror checking and when lane changing, I tend to forget to check my proper right/left mirror and blind spot, same goes for when going left or near a turn of a bus lane where bus or cyclists can be seen. Anyhow, given this information, if possible, I hope you can help a fellow lad out and let me know some tips before I sit this test and hope for the best :) Thanks! EDIT: I also got a lot of minus points for driving above the speed limit, any tips on how to fix this? It's hard to spot the speed signs sometimes and is it okay to properly slow down when ever unsure? What would be the best speeds for these roads, 50/30/40/?
@@maylamadriaga8814 100% it wasn't easy but here is the simplest tips I can very much offer you. Blind spots, constant and I mean lots of them. Mirror checks of all sorts and proper once that doesn't require a full head rotation. Make sure to also use the flush median to your advantage, stalling, slowing down or even taking 5 seconds or more to get into another lane or road is a bad idea unless you're lane changing and indicated for over 3 seconds and is safe for you to do lane changes. Feel free to ask any further questions if ever.

Yeah blind spot and mirrors is really important whenever you are changing lanes, turning, getting on or off a median strip, merging

I would say it is..except add in the parallel parking and 3 point turn part
My husband did his restricted test and he went as far as Flat Bush. He passed on his first go. Let me know if you have questions I can ask him hehe
