Couple of questions, out of curiosity;
1. What is the stuff you are setting fire to and why?
2. When doing the fine details, like the ship, what is the clear paint your are spraying, and why?

Hi!! I am obviously not Skech, but I also do spray paint art and I can answer your questions:
So he is using a lighter and clear gloss paint to make the paint dry and harden quickly. If you just leave the paint to dry, it could take up to fifteen minutes. Using the fire sets it up in just seconds so that you can move on to the next layer of paint without disrupting the bottom layer.
Another great use of gloss paint!! When doing the ship, he placed down some pinks and reds, then black on top. To make the ship using the spatula, you're removing some of the black paint on top to reveal those pinks and reds underneath. In order to scrape off the black, it needs to be wet. If it has dried too quickly for you to work with, just adding some gloss will wet the black back up so that you can scrape it off.

Once again, I loved this piece of art. It had my mind going to its own fantasy land and just going with the flow as the painting progressed. Also once again, I absolutely love Sunny's piano accompaniment. Sunny, you need to compile a CD of the music you play, then sell it in Skech's store! I would definitely buy a copy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!! Soon I will feel practiced enough (I hope) to do a spray paint space scene on the hood of my van. Such a nice big canvas and I have wanted to do it for a good while now. I know if it goes well I will do more in other big areas on the sides etc. but I also have to save room for adding my sculptures to the van. :p - Heidi

Ok. 3 questions. 1) what is the point of adding white right after black. 2) does the paint bleed through the stencils when u spray over them? And 3) How much did this paint ting sell for. I found if very unique. Great work Skech!

The colours depend on what you want to paint and the flames are to make the paint dry instantly
