New weapon idea - Necronomicon - The Necronomicon is a book weapon that is held in the players right hand that creates a blood orb floating over the players left hand (which is held out for the idle anim), when 1 handing the weapon, it becomes an orb with 0.95x swing speed, decent posture, 16 dmg + 1.5 bleed, and low range. Has two crits, standing crit has the player imbue the orb into their fist and hit a high posture and high knock back punch, if it’s a guardbreak, throw an orb that follows the knockbacked player and siphons blood if not parried when it attaches. Second crit is aerial and has the player smash the orb into the floor and create a large aoe effect with mediocre posture, but short windup and attack, also has a surge effect if the opponent fails to parry, where a mini chaser blood wave spawns to hit the opponent. 2nd form is 2 handed, becomes a shiv like blood weapon. Does 0.9x swing speed, 17 dmg, low posture, low range, but a special effect that procs stacks of wounded onto opponents, the more stacks of wounded applied (up to 5) increases blood drain, and if the opponent is flourished when they have 4 or more wound stacks, swing speed increases by 0.1x to a total of 1x, but only has one crit, which has the blood shiv become giant and creates a blood wave after being smashed into the ground that behaves similarly to abyssal ridge (squibbo monster mantra). 1st form is more casual while 2nd form is more technical. Honestly I really wanted it to be an Oath since I thought it was going to look ridiculous as an Attunament, the devs initially said they "had no ideas on what mantras to make" and it went somewhat against the already established lore but now watching this video and trying it with friends I realize that K1 really cooked (maybe too much), this makes me excited to see what Lifeweave will be like and I hope it is on this same level

I tested out scarlet beam and it doesnt seem too good, you cant cancel it once you use it so i can see multiple opportunities for enemys to hard punish you, so it seems like more of a zoning mantra
