Yikes - perhaps you should give Book 1 a re-read, because the visit by Percy to Olympus is not how you remember it. All of the gods AREN'T there - only Zeus and Poseidon, and much of it is as it is in the book ("Poseidon and Zeus looked at each other. They had a quick, intense discussion in Ancient Greek. I only caught one word. Father.") We don't see all of the gods together on Olympus until the end of Book 3 ("The Titan's Curse"). The big difference in the show is that the missed deadline and the war make the stakes higher (which IMO is a good decision). And though a big deal isn't made of it, Luke does indeed use his sword to escape at the end of Book 1: "He slashed his sword in an arc and disappeared in a ripple of darkness." And just FYI, Percy's sword is named Riptide, and Poseidon doesn't help him on that beach - that wave is all Percy, using his power (remember, it's single combat).
HAHA That's hilarious! I think Ethan is totally remembering the movie instead of the books. The both of us will definitely read the second book before the second season. Thanks for letting us know! I like the series even more now.
your surprise at hearing he's never been to the Empire State Building leads me to believe y'all are NYers,, ayyyyy ✌Long Islander in the comments. For sure the funniest part about this show are some of the scenes of Camp Half-Blood. Some scenes I was like "ok I could believe that's LI" and then it cut to some demigods running on a rope bridge in the mountains and my sister and I were in stitches - ah, yes, Long Island, an *island* known for its mountains lmfao I've also never been to the Statue of Liberty!! But I've been up the Empire State Building a few times as a little kid
YES! Queens in the house!!! I am not a NYer but my kids were born and raised there. I will take him to the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty one day!!
I posted a comment but it disappeared. I don't think I wrote anything inappropriate. I was just sharing a link for an article on editing tools that you might like to read, but I don't understand YT policies for comments. Have a great week!
Hey, Luke’s sword backbiter can open doors in reality, Rick just seems to forget about it after book 1
If it was never used again I think that's why Ethan forgot. Ethan and I are definitely going to read book 2 though before the 2nd season! 😆
@@ReelMomReactions Yes he only uses once in book 1 and then Rick forgets about it 😂
Oh damn, I thought it wasn’t introduced until book 3. 💀

you missed the end credit scene where gabe does get medusa headed. You need to go back and react to that.
Hi! Check out the video at 17:15. We react to the scene there. Sorry about that. I should have put the chapter in the description!

That's very weird. I don't see any comments being held for review. If you want to, you can try again. Have a great week as well!
