These are just two of the best players out there man. Taste, style, phrasing, dynamics...all just masterful. The video was beautiful as well. A pleasure to watch.
For me the two best players on youtube, for sure. I follow them from long time ago, and i love them. My misfortune is not to be able to meet them in Nahsville because I live in Spain....so damn´t
This is one of the most wonderful, entertaining and inspiring guitar/music series or projects in TH-cam. Kudos to the whole team involve in this project in Heritage Guitars! It would be great for us the fans if you could also provide backing tracks for these projects. Thank you! 🙏💞🎸🎉
I think the progression they are playing is Em7///|C7///|Em7///|C7////|Em7///|C7///|A7///|C7/B7/| Not Summertime, but a bluesy-jazzy thing with a similar kind of feel. Fun to solo over!
@@Edomsharp9 you got it 8 bar groove - a G#7 comes along to initiate the turnaround back to a quick C7/B7 - solos are crazy good chase that F# as the progression slides into B7 chord
The Gibson factory was sold to Heritage in 1984 (?). That's 38 years ago. Probably not many old-timers left. I wrote to Heritage in late 2021. Here is what they told me in response to my question about tours - "The tours are on hold indefinitely until a major construction project is completed. The estimated completion date is 2023. When they're back, we'd love to show you around." That doesn't exactly sound like a full demo to me. I'll bet they are still working at 225 Parsons. I was there before Gibson left. Amazing factory. jc
After 9 gibson 335(6 dots and 3 custom shop), finally I've found a good 335: my heritage h 535. I'm not a gibson basher cause my favourite guitars are 2 custom shop Les Paul but they can't do a 335 anymore.
Two the best guitarists in Nashville. I would love to see Uncle Larry and Jack Pearson!! #615 boys
Hey, that’s my guitar teacher! Both of them.
The two of you NEED to make a duo record together. Tremendous playing! I could listen to this all day.
Playing my H-535 is always a pleasure!
Love my tobacco burst Custom Core H-150!! Guthrie and R.J. playing some sweet music!
So much STYLE here! The only thing more swaggg than the playing is RJ's hair! Guitars sound fab!
Guthrie Trapp is a straight Killa. Dude is on a whole other level.
Encore!!!!!
The most tasteful players in the game giving the most eargasmic shit I’ve ever heard
I think this one’s my favourite so far
Holy crap!!!! 2 of my favorite guitar players! Thank you for getting these two together!! ❤❤

This sessions should be put on an album.
Great! Two of the finest! Oh, and the guitarists are fairly good, LOL.

That's a cool idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@HeritageGuitarsInc My pleasure! 🙏
Just stunning. Top-notch guitars and players.
Insane
Great video. Sounds great. What are the changes these two fine players are soloing over?
great sounds!
No doubt those guitars would sound fantastic on either of my blues amps
Nice. You’d think that guys who played this well could afford more than old holey jeans!
Are they playing over the “summertime”progression?
