I've never actually celebrated any holidays so I don't have any traditions regarding that... But I do strive to live every day showing compassion to everyone I meet. Of course, some people make that challenging 🤬, but that's all the more reason to try to remember that EVERYONE has their own story, reasons why they are the way they are, or reasons that are leading them to react in an unfavorable way... and if I can remember THAT, it's easier to extend love, kindness and compassion. And lord knows, we ALL need grace extended to ourselves, too. So I aim to set the example. 💗
Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. It could be a new shirt in a men's store, a cat nap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Agent Cooper gave the best advice for everyday happiness.

In western nc, though closer to Charlotte than Asheville after a recent move. We used to listen to rain then switched to fire for fall. We absolutely Don't need to hear any more about water for a while than we have to (all day) and appreciate campfire sounds as we love those fires. Thank you.
