I live two blocks from railroad track in Baton Rouge. Sweet sound. Well I wish I could find railfanning sights in or around Baton Rouge La.

Can you make a video on programming digital RR channels into the Uniden BCD160DN?

This is extremely helpful - thanks! I don’t have a scanner yet, but hoping to get one soon.
I was worried that even if I got one, I wouldn’t be able to figure out how to use it, what I was hearing, etc., but this info will help a lot! Definitely bookmarking this to refer back to 🙂 -Alex

In the train callout audio for CSX E547, you said there are various websites to lookup what that train is... what are those websites? As a railfan newbie, I'm in the dark about resources like that. The biggest challenge in deciphering what's heard is developing an ear for the rapid fire speech, like you said, it can be really difficult to catch what's being said. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.

There are a few websites that post the train symbols. I often will do a Google search for CSX Train Symbols. Happy you enjoyed the video.
