Hi, nice video! Thank you for your work here. Is it necessary to connect the elements after every reflection ? I think it would be faster if you would reflect all (unconnected) and equivalence them at the end when you already have the hole sphere.
press F12, then go to batchmesh option, here you have to select criteria file. when you browse ,there are some prebuild criteria files from altair. just select the surface then do batchnesh.

there is no such formula for meshing. it depends on element quality, engineer experience etc.

you can also do reflect all at once.
