I know Collin from BBMC was supposed to have been a PI according to his backstory. He did a couple of cases earlier on upon joining the city, but I think it mostly transitioned into a coverstory for his illegal activities, then dropped.
Detective K was a thing in late 2.0 and Jordan Steele did private security in 2.0, also I swear I remember someone hiring a PI in 2.0 that was a random guy but I don’t remember who

This RP is super entertaining, but it is unfortunate that baas is technically right that pretty much nothing can be done. The Senate is basically the in-world manifestation of the nopixel admins'/devs' power. It sadly breaks down, because it doesn't make sense in-world for the unelected senate, who's only authority is legislative, to enforce their power not only onto judicial matters, but also law enforcement, and not expect mass revolt from citizens and police.

The Legislative nature of the senate means that they have no authority to do anything that they have done since inception. The senators don't even know the laws in their own city. Just because they are NP staff (and a non elected position, which is what exactly opposite of what a senator actually is) doesn't give them the right to do anything they have done since they decided Wayne's case.
