I remember seeing him perform this he got a standing ovation and the audience was going crazy, clapping for a good 5 minutes he broke character cause he was so overwhelmed from the love of the audience.
I was gifted see him and Brendon Urie about two years ago and I will never forget it. I went in thinking I was going to love Brendon as Charlie but he stole the show! He is absolutely amazing.
stunning song and lyrics, there was an old man to the left of me sobbing and a 50 year old lady to the right of me tearing up and me welling up with tears too. Stunning lyrics that most seem to be relating to. 😓🙈💕
Saw him a few years ago and he was absolutely amazing. I’ve never cried so much listening to a fucking song in my life. His performance was so real, and heart felt. When his dad was there, it hit me where it fucking hurt. As a gay person, we can all feel this song.
I saw KB on Broadway this past weekend and during this number, I was balling! Song was over and tears were still falling down my face, lol. Ghee sang his face all the way off!
Seen this show twice, one with Brenden Urie and J Harrison and a second time with Stark Sands and Billy Porter. I have to say I enjoyed Brenden and J Harrison’s performance more. There was this amazing dynamic between the two of them that was portrayed in everything even their height difference. Billy and Stark didn’t have the same effect on me. They were great but I think they had a bit of a strange dynamic
John DeLuca I saw it with Brendon and J Harrison as well and I have to agree the statement about their dynamic. It was like fire. I never got to see stark and Billy but I’m sure I would have loved it too. Brendon was a great choice for Charlie.
You don't want to see me anymore You can't listen to me laugh out loud You don't wanna see me dance You can't even take the chance That it might reflect on you You missed out on the best part of me The part that made me who I am today Oh, but the best part of me is standing in front of you And loves you anyway Hold me in your heart till you understand Hold me in your heart just the way that I am With all your faults, I love you Don't give up, on me I won't give up, on you Well you took my hand, taught me how to be strong That's where I picked up when we went all wrong I know that I hurt you, and you hurt me too But you mean more to me, I must mean more to you Hold me in your heart till you understand Hold me in your heart just the way that I am With all your faults I love you I need you to love me that way too
b/c no one come close to billy. he was alright in the singing dept but he was all over the place with his arms flailing. he was to stiff in that song. and he tried to copy billy but alas, he failed. but that is just me!!!!

WAS THIS IN NYC IN 2017? I was there that day and I still cry every time I think about it/hear this song
I saw him as Lola a few weeks ago and I'm not afraid to admit that this song had me sobbing in the theater
I saw him tonight, the night before the closing show and there was a full two minute standing ovation during this song. It was SOOO moving.

I was there too and it was so much! I loved every minute of it!
I have always loved the way he sings "that waaaaaaayy.....TEEEEEWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" ♡

He had the best wig out of all of them and that's tea😂👀
because he’s a drag queen out of the show! mama knew what she was doing 👏
素晴らしい!!
“It was good to see you, Daddy. Goodbye. (Kisses his dad on the cheek). (Says tearfully) I love you”. Walks away from father. Damn waterworks!
I love the Whitney Houston homage
I just saw him on Monday and it was so much better than this performance. His voice is AMAZING! Literally got lost in a beautiful moment.
Oh god why am I crying
I saw KB on Broadway this past weekend and during this number, I was balling! Song was over and tears were still falling down my face, lol. Ghee sang his face all the way off!
Is anyone else a little bit obsessed with that tiny guitar riff at 1:17?
Joseph Binmore that’s the first time I’ve heard it!!! I actually like it

You don't want to see me anymore
You can't listen to me laugh out loud
You don't wanna see me dance
You can't even take the chance
That it might reflect on you
You missed out on the best part of me
The part that made me who I am today
Oh, but the best part of me is standing in front of you
And loves you anyway
Hold me in your heart till you understand
Hold me in your heart just the way that I am
With all your faults, I love you
Don't give up, on me
I won't give up, on you
Well you took my hand, taught me how to be strong
That's where I picked up when we went all wrong
I know that I hurt you, and you hurt me too
But you mean more to me, I must mean more to you
Hold me in your heart till you understand
Hold me in your heart just the way that I am
With all your faults I love you
I need you to love me that way too
