Bullet has been in India for around 70 years and it would be here for more time to come.
If you would have ever noticed, Bullet never competes with anyone.
It is analog display with no fuel meter/ Halogen display/ UCE engine and 150 kg of metal.
If you remember, the earliest advertisement of Dominar had said 'Hathi mat paalo', they directly took a jibe at Bullet. This is where they went wrong.
Bullet was and is reliable machine thats the reason armed forces and civvy people love bullet. In Ladakh or in Jungles of Chhatisgarh and Nagaland, bikes like dominar/Thunderbird would fail because of fragile built and fancy bikes like Himalayan doesn't make sense because of cost of over 2.5 lakhs.
Bullet is buy and forget. Even after 20 years someone who purchased Bullet for Rs. 2Lakhs can sell it for Rs. 2lakhs but unfortunately I cannot say for any other bike (let alone the thought that a bike would actually last more than 15 years.)
Dominar has sporty image for young blood who are care free on the other hand Bullet has a matured image for all. A boy of 18 years or old man of 70 years, they all enjoy Bullet.
Ask any dadima if they remembered any bike or would love to ride, it would be 'woh Dug dug karte hue ek bike aati thi hamare gaanv mein'

Specs wise Dominar beats Bullet black and blue but durability and reliability's race is always won by Bullet.
2021 is going to see new bullet, this is when Bullet's would reduce.. They are removing the UCE and kickstart and reduced height. Now it is going to be a Tom and dick's bike.
