Mario Party 3: The Star that appears every millennium is wanted by everyone so they can become the superstar
Mario Party 4: Goomba, Shy Guy, Toad, Boo, and Koopa invite Mario and his friends to the Party Cube
Mario Party 5: Mario decides to throw another Mario Party?
Mario Party 6: Brighton and Twila argue who is cooler and Mario decides to throw a Mario Party to help them by giving them the stars into the Star Bank
Mario Party Advance: Toad, Toadette, and E Gadd run Party World
Mario Party 7: Toadsworth invites Mario and his friends on a cruise to travel the world. Bowser sees this and decides to ruin their vacation because he wasn’t invited
Mario Party 8: A carnival takes place and MC Ballyhoo runs Mario Party now
Mario Party DS: The Sky Crystals fall from the sky. Bowser invites Mario and his friends to his castle to apologize for being a jerk but he traps them and wants the Sky Crystals. Bowser shrinks them and everyone works together to find the other 4 Sky Crystals and stop Bowser
Mario Party 9: The Mini Stars are in the night sky until Bowser takes them. Mario and his friends go to get them back and stop Bowser
Mario Party Island Tour: Mario and his friends are invited to have another Mario Party in the skies
Super Mario Party: Almost the same as Mario Party 1 but Bowser and his goons also join in on the fun and Kamek becomes a judge with Toad and Toadette
Made up story for Star Rush: the Toads decide to throw their very own Party and decide to invite Mario and his friends
Mario Party 5's is that the Star Spirits from Paper Mario protect everyone's dreams, and Bowser wants to ruin the dreams cause he's a bad guy, so you have to protect said dreams. I wish the intro showed that!
Mario party DS is my ultimate favorite, i have the most amazing memories playing that game.

Then again Birdo is technically still in Mario's gang but Koopa Troopa and Boo? They were good guys? I can understand Koopa Troopa but why did Mario invite Boo with him? xD
2 years later snd i still don’t understand. i am guessing it’s a good koopa troopa and a good boo because that’s the only reasonable explanation as they make no sense of being in mario’s gang

Honestly gotta say 6 & 7 was its peak.
The unique board winning requirements and a great huge character selection. Went downhill after that... 8 focused on too much motion games and the quality of animation/graphics was awful. And you know 9 & 10….
StarRush was a cute. And was awesome how it brought in teammates but the map/star system was ehhh….
Superstars was a great comeback regarding presentation, graphics and most of all THE best character roster. Also that saxophone theme song! Maps fell flat tho.
If they can just make the next one not just have remade classics boards like Superstar, but bigger and better ones that include the partner system, the huge character roster from Super, as well as the costumes from MP2 we’d have a phenomenal game. But most importantly also LET TOAD TOADETTE AND KAMEK JOIN IN AGAIN! 😖

Super Mario Party has the merit of being the Mario Party with the most playable characters, but Mario Party Superstars and the Gamecube games onwards are the best.
The worst Mario Parties have to be the ones on the Wii, Star Rush and the one on Gameboy Advance.

6 would have been absolutely perfect if there were 2 or 3 more boards with the standard "track down the star for 20 coins" rule. The tree and e gadd's garage were fun! But i would have liked more options.
I'd argue the same for 7 too. 8 would have been great if it didn't have the aesthetic of a wii sports game.
The only ones I ever played are 5, Star Rush, Super MP and Super Stars. I wish I had played more 😢
