Your commentary on your own process and sketching experience is full of insight. I have been getting into more urban sketching as a complement to my watercolour hobby. I find it helps develop observation and drawing skills, even when we make many "mistakes", it's all part of the self-taught approach.
You chose quite a difficult set of subjects in this video, but it's good to challenge ourselves and learn from it.

Yea exactly 😊 Urban Sketching allows us to just sketch without thinking too much about the perfect outcome, which helps a lot with stepping out of our comfort zones.
That sounds great! Using mediums in different ways can definitely teach a lot about them. I am also trying to implement some of the things i learned into my ink drawings. Have a great day 😊

Your sketches looked really good. I would definitely feel a bit overwhelmed, like you did at the beginning. The industrial subject seems hard to draw, knowing where to start with so much detail would definitely feel overwhelming but I like the way you break it up to draw..Thanks for sharing and for the tips.😊

Yes, some sceneries can be scary to draw at first, but most of the times it gets easier after the first basic guidelines 😌

Meinst du, jemand der kein räumiches Vorstellungsvermögen hat, kann das auch irgendwann so gut? Ich weiß, das man durch üben immer besser wird, aber ob ich das trotz dem "Handicap" hinbekomme? Gibt es denn Tips für absolute Anfänger? Also lieber erst Pflantzen malen, oder Dinge...oder einfach was gefällt? Denke so eine Brücke uder Fabrik ist schon sehr schwer ^^!

Jep, ich denke, dass man mit gezielten Übungen schnell besser werden kann 🤗 Beim räumlichen Vorstellungsvermögen kann man gut Perspektive-Übungen machen. Also man könnte sich anschauen wie das Ganze funktioniert und aufgebaut wird (Es gibt viele Bücher und TH-cam-Tutorials dazu) und sich so langsam von einfachen Motiven bis hin zu Straßen und Architektur herantasten.
