My best friend is getting married soon and had previous partners but her fiancé didn't, which raised eyebrows with some folks. Its so silly, but here we are 🙄 thankfully your country and mine have a decent variation in attitudes so its not like everyone is judgy.

They don't have every dress in all the available colours. They try on the dress and if they like it they will order it in the colour that they want for the wedding. There are probably samples of the different colours and fabrics from every designer.
To clear up also any potential confusion, the reason why the bridesmaids modeling the dresses aren't wearing the color the bride ask for is because those are sample dresses. Once the style is chosen, the color and sizes are then ordered. It took me a few episodes to realize that

Something to keep in mind is stores typically have samples of a particular style in just a few or sometimes only one color but they can be ordered in many colors. So just because the sample is white doesn't mean the final dress will be. Also they only carry a few sizes so like wedding dresses the final fit will be different. Each of them had seamstresses who made the dresses from patterns. They enjoyed having the fit exactly tailored for them in colors that played off the flower colors.

i have to say, i love bridesmaids /moh in white. it think its more traditional in europe (or at least some parts of it) because we dont have bridesmaids just moh and those were traditionally dressed completely as a bride (same dress + veil), so now that is popular for brides to wear white, it follows.

Personally for me I think the first girl had a slightly bigger stomach (at least it LOOKED like it). Or at least the pinched fabric made her stomach look bigger than the second girls
For the dress colors, most shops & dresses have their samples in 1 color but you can get it in various colors when ordering. At my sister's wedding we all wore different dresses, we all had very different body types, but we all had the same color, length, and had to choose from 2-3 fabric types. So, it looked cohesive but we all looked good in the dresses despite our different body types & sizes. So, I agree it's good to do different dresses but it has to be cohesive & not too wildly different, especially if you have a bunch of girls with very different body types & sizes.

So, I agree it's good to do different dresses but it has to be cohesive & not too wildly different, especially if you have a bunch of girls with very different body types & sizes.
